Banners Tando- Air mail RD card

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new Rubber Dance post.
This time I made a mail art card. I can't even decide if it's a card or a kind of tn art, but I love the result.
I used monoprint piece made with Gelli Plate as a background and stayed with the same monochromatic colors. I stamped the Post Card background and Air Mail with red ink and added all other images with black one. All images are from new, just released Envelope stamps  set from Rubber Dance. The Post Card is from Collage mix set. Then I stamped  the script  from Collage mix set over the white chipboard banner  and added it on the  top of this piece.

Inspired by Stamping printed projects

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Today I am going to share a couple of  projects that I made back in April for a special print issue of Just Cards! magazine and called Just Christmas cards and decorations.
This print magazine is already in shops and this is a right time to share some of my Inspired by Stamping projects with you.
More to come in another post, I promise.
So this is a first one and it's a fancy Christmas tag made with themed paper and stickers, but them the major part is this stamped stocking and IBS lovely sentiment.
I used red, black and gold embossing powders  and I hope the magazine readers will ask for those stamps as we are still far from Christmas.
 IBS Stamps used:

The second print published project that I am going to share today is this  altered frame made in a chalkboard style and I stamped IBS fantastic sentiment with white ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
And this is a stamp set used here:

Hello snow- with Two Paper Divas

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new Mixed Media card made with Two Paper Divas most gorgeous Tree stamp.
I made the heat embossed " like metal" frame and then added the stamped tree that was embellished with a few kinds of puffy powders and pearl pen to imitate the snowflakes.
The sentiment is the same puffy looked one from PHP and I think it's really looks like a snow over the bare tree.

I enter this to Frosted designs Metal challenge as this is a totally faux metal frame.

Makin's clay School days presents

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new post made for Makin's Clay blog!
This month of August we were asked to made some Back to School projects and I made a few small school presents.
As my kids are all grown- ups and my grand kids are still very little, I  am really not sure what those school projects should be. But then, nice altered notebook and an altered pencils organiser can be great when altered with lovely Makin's Clay products.
So here is a small tutorial  and you sure can do it if you are also a paper crafter, like me, and have a die cutting device and some dies too.
I used #3 setting and it was just a try and the great fit for the die cutting the dry sheets of clay with a regular Cuttelbug that I own. So make a few pieces of  rolled clay on #3 setting and let them dry.

2. When your rolled clay is totally dry die cut it with a regular  thin metal dies in your regular die cutting machine. I used Spellbinders Book shaped labels and actually made a mix of colors and sizes.

3. Arrange 4 die cut clay piece by the size and by different color into two die cut books.
Glue all pieces with a good clay and then adhere  your clay books over the general notebook cover.
Those neon colors work perfect over the black/grey covers.
Now the part of your school gift is already done.

4. While waiting for your rolled piece to dry, used the Neon pack leftover to make some cut shapes and to embellish a container that will be used a your pencil holder.
I mixed my Neon clay left overs by hand and made a marbled mix that then was rolled with Makin's roller from Roller and Cutter set.
Do not over mix it! We really want this marbled look and not some muddy color.
Then use your small cutters and cut some lovely shapes. I used a few shapes from Flowers and Leaves cutter set.

5. Let your cut shapes dry and adhere them to the metal container that you like.
So easy to make and so lovely!
If you like the shiny look, cover the shapes with some glaze.

I added a few vintage buttons in gold to make it fancy and a few ribbons on the top.
The rose is my own hand made embellishment - casted with ETI Easy cast resin into a mold and the misted with Tattered Angels mist over it.

I made a very modern style card using American Crafts patterned paper. The background of this card was stamped with round frame and black ink (heat embossed with clear powder ) as a net of circles. The borders  of the second layer papers were punched with EK Success punch .
Then I made a focal stamped point with a mix of flowers from the new set and added a sentiment.
This is a perfect that we can do out sentiments for a numeral occasions with those sentiment small stamps.
The  stamped circle was misted with a few light mists and I added a few mist drops over the whole card.

Vintage post cards-with Rubber Dance

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new Rubber Dance post.
Do you remember this saying about life giving you lemons and you 're making lemonade? So when your crafty life is giving you a new Mail art stamp set and you don't really know what to do with it? Make Post cards and enjoy! Even if those are just some simple stamped creations.
So here is how I did mine:
Products used:
Rubber Dance stamps: Dancing Woman, Violin player from Women collage set - for the front of my postcards
Love as a sentiment from ArtyHearty set
Envelope stamps for the back of my postcards

Step by step instructions:
1. Cover 2 post card sized white thick cardstock pieces with torn paper leftovers as shown.Stamp the images with black pigmented ink and heat emboss with clear embossing powder.

2. Using a few shades of natural/brownish distress inks color the inside as shown.

3. Remove the torn paper and this is your post card front.

4. Stamp the word LOVE over each card and ink the edges only.

5. Now make your template as we want the back of the post card to look pretty real.
I made some measurements here just to show you that all we need is the middle of the card and the ends of POST CARD stamp.
6. Use the back  marked piece as your template and just outline the upper long line and a few short ones on the right with fine black marker.
Now stamp the POST CARD title, the Air Mail sign, the stamp and the post cancellation  sign and add one more Air mail stamp on the bottom.
This is a real post card here! We can use it and to snail mail it (cover the faux  post stamp with a real one, please!)

I hope you loved my small tutorial and will make your own simple and fancy Mail Art!

And this is my project here:
I made 3 similar, but not identical Mixed Media cards using ARTplorations stencils and the stamps from this new released set.
I added some mist splashes over the dry texture paste and then one simple chipboard/wooden embellishment that was heat embossed into black. As I was asked where the chipboards are from, they are from Polish company called Wicenanka and they do ship  anywhere.
As simple as it looks- it's effective and unique as you can never do the very same texture or the very same coloring.

Holidays tag with Two Paper Divas

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my third Christmas in August post made for Two Paper Divas.
I made a fancy tag again as I love tags and I think I can use some when Holidays come.
I tried to use the long Holidays Season  sentiment stamp over the tag  and as such I had to add it over the tag vertically. But it looks great and with some nice paper and handmade berries this tag looks delicious!

Challenge inspiration with VLVS

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my August VLVS inspiration post.
I made it in my usual Mixed Media style using lots of mediums, paints, stencils and ... stamps, sure.
Also this inspiration is in black and white, I thought that adding a bit of color on the corner can be interesting. So I used stencil to make the texture over stamped Dictionary page  (keeping the main image of Businessman  Silhouette on the corner). The Film strip that was on the inspirational piece gave me the words of my art piece: Life is not an old movie, but a new rainbow dream.
Totally my own quote, believe me...
The quote was made with my very old letter stickers and as those became totally non adhesive, I added a thin line of glaze to keep them in the place.

And now for some close- ups too:
I used Sepia black ink and not the  real black one, so you see a bit of dark brown on the background stamping. The man image was outlined with white paint around to make it " standing out".

The word life is a die cut  that I glued on my piece.

And here is a full sentiment  (you sure can use it, but remember me if you do so)

And here is a list of stamps I used for this inspirational piece:
Businessman Silhouette Item 19418 Plate 1440
Film strip Item 18921 Plate 1428
Dictionary page Item 19015 Plate 890
I enter this to Pixels and Paper inspirational challenge and I this it's a great fit!

IBS SKETCH CARD FOR AUGUST

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new post made for Inspired by Stamping company.
This time we all were asked to make a card or another project with IBS sketch, colors or products for a monthly challenge.
I picked the sketch and made this lovely card with my most favorite  new released stamps set:
I stamped over the patterned paper and heat embossed it with clear powder. And just to say something about the layers: the die cut paper is my very first Cameo try. Yes, I finally plugged my Cameo after 2 years. Not sure if I am going to use it a lot, but at least it works.
Now it's your turn! Play with IBS monthly challenge and you can win some gorgeous goodies!

Dream like there's no tomorrow: with ARTplorations

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new Mixed Media post made for ARTplorations !
This time I played with Gelli plate and Tattered Angels High Impact paints. Second time in my whole life play. But as your can see it works! And with ARTplorations gorgeous stencils it works even better.
So I used Bubbles stencil mostly and a bit of Chevron Crazy and made tons of monoprints with the same stencils, but with different paints and colors.
Then I arranged them into this grid over the black cardstock and connected the small pieces with the similar colors washi tape.
The chipboard title was heat embossed and misted and then glued over the middle of this fun art board.
Then, as I still had a lot of monoprints left, I die cut a few pieces to add to the board, such as butterflies and a leaves' swirl.  Just one tip for this new to gelli plates girl: try to find better acrylics than my cheap kids shop ones I have here. I waisted tons of good paper for like 6 nice prints.

Makin's Clay August project: bag chain

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new Makin's Clay blog post.
This time I made a cute, sunny and easy to make bag chain and I even made a small tutorial about the process.
1. I used a mix of 4 Neon  colors and made a kind of marbling only mix. I mostly had pink and yellow, so those are colors that are mostly seen after the mixing.I made a rolled piece using Makin's Clay Roller from Roller and Cutter set.
Then I used Makin's clay Flowers and Leaves cutters set  to make those adorable shapes. Don't forget to make a small hole of the top in your wet clay, unless you want to drill it later. And now let it dry for a day or so.

2. Arrange the chain with your clay pieces and add some fancy rhinestones, beads or shiny something to your chain.
Cover the clay pieces with a thick layer of  glaze and let it dry.

3. That's it! You chain is done and you can see how lovely it looks over my summer handbag.

And look how pretty it looks over the black background!
