Visible Image Friday: Be Unique

This project made Top 3 on Stamping for the weekend challenge- thanks!
Hello, my dear stamping friends! It' my VISIBLE IMAGE Friday and my new altered tag made for this post.
I just got this most adorable The Sewing Room set and I decided to make this spool tag using my beloved Tando Creative spool chipboard shape.

The basic cardstock is Teresa Collins  dotted one. Then I used a lot of laces to give it a look of this trims spool . Some are Love my tapes lace, some are Handmade Halo  ones and some are just
" whatever I have". Then I stamped the Dress form stamp from this set, heat embossed it with Wow Embossing Peach powder and cut it out. I had to make it Unique, so I wrapped it with tulle.

But wait- this  set has so many great stamps, so here we go. 2 measure tape stamps were stamped over Pink Paislee light patterned paper and I made this  collage with a real wooden spool. Then I stamped 2 small spools, cut them out and wrapped with Bakers Twine. Now I make this tag title with the title stamp and  one stitching stamp. Everything else was just " add some trims and trinkets and try to leave some white space to showcase the stamps".  Finally I have this totally lovely gift tag to be given to anyone special!

And some tips too:
Keep every single piece of trims and laces as you always can do this " faux" LACE TRIM PACKAGE. Keep small twine pieces as you can do this small spools too. Don't have any good white cardstock to stamp? Pick some thick light patterned paper and stamp over it. And after all- BE UNIQUE in your crafts!
Try to follow this Ton- KG- Gram rule when you want to make a vintage piece, don't overdo the colors.
Hope you got some inspiration from this piece and now jump to Visible Image shop to get you some great and non expensive stamps. New releases are just around the corner! See you next Friday with more Visible Image inspiration!

IBS INSPIRATION

Today on Inspired by Stamping we have a new inspiration challenge.
Join us and win some gorgeous goodies!
Here is my take of those inspirational colors:

Our purrrfect princess

OK, she is not my cat  (also we do have one), but my grandson's one. And for a few weeks she was HE (they thought that she is and gave her a masculine name too). So her name is EREZ and it's a boy name for sure and she is a fat home princess.
Page made with T.Collins, Cosmo Cricket, Glitz, Elle's Studio, A2Z  Scraplets (the brick wall too, their chipboard and gesso with embossing powders over it) and a lot of recycled wool yarn around this page.

Visible Image (not Friday): Mirror, mirror on the wall

Hello, my dear Visible Image friends! I know that it's not Friday today, but for this week only I post today, as I take part in a big blog hop on Friday and want each post be visible and not lost. So here is my stamped project for today: card made with this gorgeous and MUST  HAVE Classic  Face Visible Image stamp.

Actually  I got an idea about this card when I got this brass mirrow (from Handmade Halo shop). I  knew I would love to make this "Mirror, mirror on the wall..." theme.
I used DCWV shaped cardstock, then misted some Pink Paislee mistable cardstock, added a lot of washi tapes and a piece of  misted Love My Tapes lace I won last month (but it was white and yellow, so I changed the color). The face stamp was stamped  twice with 2 ink colors and double matted. The last touch were those Bo Bunny letters for a title and this brass mirror (so  adorable one). I like this vintage look of this card, and yet not too much mess or embellishments after all. All you need is one great stamp and one great charm.

BTW: this stamp is  so perfect to make ATC , just right size and the image  has a lot of white space to add more stamping or things over it. I promise to make some in a week or two.

Hope you got some inspiration from this piece and now jump to Visible Image shop to get you some great and non expensive stamps. New releases are just around the corner! See you next Friday with more Visible Image inspiration!

Broken Glass Tutorial: Tando Music blog hop

Hello, my dear crafting friends! Irit is here today with my Broken Glass technical tutorial made for our  Tando Creative Music blog hop.
If you came from Caro 's  blog - you are on a right way!

All you need to make this broken glass look is a big background stamp , clear embossing ink and a lot of Clear embossing powders. All you need to make this final project is Tando most gorgeous Music notes chipboard!
Step 1:
Pick your WOW Embossing Powders stamp. I picked Suzy West  French Music Background stamp.
Stamp a background stamp with permanent ink. I used black Memento, but any permanent ink will do the job. Please, not any kind of pigmented ink as it will be a mess after the first heat embossing step.

Step 2:
Cover the entire  stamped piece with  Clear embossing ink  and add a thick layer of  Clear Gloss Ultra High  embossing powder. Heat it and add 2-3 more layers of the same powder.  Let it cool and add more clear ink all over. Now add a think layer of  Clear Gloss Super  Fine embossing powder and heat it again. Make it 2-3 more times with the fine powder. The fine powder should cover  some spaces that are not totally flat in your  Clear Gloss Ultra High powder embossing.

Step 3:
Put your embossed paper in  your deep freezer and wait for half an hour.
Now take the frozen paper and break it all over as much as you can. The thicker your embossing is and the smaller is you paper piece,  the better crackles will be shown. As  my paper is pretty big (so was this Music stamp), I can see just some small crackles around.
Now add some light brown distress ink over the embossed paper and   clean it with  some wet cloth.
Now we can see the broken glass areas and our background piece is done.

Step 4: Make a final project using your glass background .The Music chipboard was inked with Black pigmented ink and then covered with Ultra High Black embossing powder.

This technique  works perfect over any printed images too (not a newspaper ones as those are not permanent), but patterned paper, magazine cuts etc.

And one final tip: use a box when you do your massive embossing, so you can pick all your leftover powder. I didn't... I need to mop my craft room as it looks like a sandy beach.
Now go  to our Tando blog and comment! You can win some goodies too!
See you again next month with Tando next blog hop!

Learn from your mistakes

This page was done for those who , like me, need to learn from their mistakes. If you are not this glimmery kind of girl- don't buy those fancy dresses and then ask yourself " why". So this is a page about me and about this issue. Please, read my journaling to understnad it all.
I used A2Z chipboards and Handmade Halo items here, as well as washi tape, lot of gems  and 3 old alpha sets.I made this  page for C'est Manifique sketch November challenge and I hope they like it.

MOMENT MINI BOOK COVER

This is a  new minibook cover I made for Prima Fan contest: it was  all about to use Prima packaging, so I used 3 of them on this project. The clear one with doilies, the bottom one under the  clear one and the banners cut outs from fabric patches package. I used some fabric tape I won on Love My Tapes blog to cover the printed staff over the package ,Words or Whatever chipboard covered with  Wow Embossing Powders and Handmade Halo resin birdie in the nest (isn't this just adorable?)

And as this is a Facebook contest, all I need to win is your help:
Please, click on this blue link here and  click on Like under the photo. You don't need to comment here at all. Just make my day brighter! We are under this rockets for 4 days already, can't go out or do anything but craft, so I craft and hope for some good news. Like end of this war or some FB win.
Thanks a lot for your moral help and for your likes!

Visible Image Friday: Discover Lifetime Magic deco

Hello, my dear stamping friends! Today is Friday and it means  my
showcase.
This week I made a wall deco.

This is a kind of  a project I make a lot: pretty simple collage piece, made on a clear mini album page. I usually add the background paper from the back side and leave a bit of clear space untouched. For this project I used Prima 15*15 cm. pad (6*6'') and no solid cardstock at all.
The chipboard octagon piece is from Tando Creative UK, so is my Music chipboard. Both of them were covered in a different way. The frame was covered with White crackled Ranger paint and then with some distressed inks over it. The music piece was  black painted and covered with Glossy Accents. (All mediums so far are Ranger)
Now for stamping part of this piece.
The script part from Men's Collage stamp was stamped with Frosty White Clearsnap ink over the black patterned paper and heat embossed with Wow Embossing Powders White.

Inspire  sentiment from Imagine- Dream- Inspire set was stamped with Stampin' Up  permanent ink  inside the lower part of the frame.

3 heat embossed butterflies were stamped using Large Butterfly stamp  over the same leftover papers and heat embossed with Pastel Pink, Pastel Blue and White powders and then hand cut. This is a most adorable stamp that can be used as I used it here of for a great background.

Collaging was pretty easy: I added some lace, an old cameo charm, a ribbon hanging and then those 3 Tim Holtz stickers to make my statement and the actual piece title.
Life is a magic. Discover it. Play  its  music. Live it free as butterflies. Cherish the old. Inspire your life  of creation. Use Visible Image stamps to do it as I did.
And some tips:
Use Glossy Accents or a very similar glue to adhere paper on the backside of acrylic plate. Also even so you can still see  some marks, it's the least possible marks ever.
When you glue cutout pieces use better glue then 3d foam dots. I made three butterflies, but I lost one in my photo process and never found it again. Also 2 butterflies are great, but they all need a better glue after all.
Stamp over your patterned paper, the colors will be seen and it's even lovely.
Think STATEMENT when you do an altered project. Don't just add things because they are pretty. Connect them with some theme or quote.  On this piece the major word was Inspire: so add everything that inspires you, like music, nature, books, vintage, but not too much of each. Some script,  one vintage piece, one nature items, not everything that you keep in your craft room.

Hope you got some inspiration  from this piece and now jump to Visible Image shop to get you some great and non expensive stamps. New releases are just around the corner! See you next Tomorrow with  our new November releases for  more Visible Image inspiration!

Too cute to use?

Also my mojo is a bit down lately, I did a few of small and cute projects and this is a very first to share.
I made this cute altered bottle caps magnet with Basic Grey stickers and a lot of Ice Resin over it as it should be clean if we use it after all.
I also added a lot of trims around this magnet  and added some heart buttons as those stickers flower centers.

Visible Image Friday: Free your imagination and scrapbook

Hello, my dear stamping friends! Today is Friday and on Fridays I show you my Visible Image projects.
So today is my Friday post with this new just released stamp set called Free your Imagination.
This  is a layout I made with year and a half photo of my first grandson's Omer Brith and my beloved Dad . My Dad passed away last December, so those photos are very precious for us even with this bad resolution. Bo Bunny products were used here together with A2Z title and I stamped the backgrounds with 2 stamps from the set, white ink with white embossing powder. Then I stamped this big journaling tag with 2 more stamps from this gorgeous set and made some stickers journaling.

And a close up on those gorgeous stamps:

Some tips here:
Don't afraid to use bad photos if those are the only photos you have from an event or gathering. We scrap to keep the memories, not for a photo contest.
Want to make a fast , but yet fancy page? Use the same paper line and embellishments and use your personal touch with stamping both on your basic cardstock and on some inner pieces.
Remember: stamps are not made for cards only. They are made to stamp. Period. Any paper, plastic, acrylic project   can be stamped. Any fabric, leather, wood and metal  project can be stamped. Just try.

Hope you got some inspiration  from this piece and now jump to Visible Image shop to get you some great and non expensive stamps. New releases are  in the shop and they are gorgeous!  Go to  all other DT girls blogs for more  and  more Visible Image inspiration!
