Robin's Nest meets Viva Las VEGASTAMPS

Viva Las Vegastamps are a great stamp company and we, Robin's Nest DT girls, got some of those lovely stamps to play with.
So here is my project made for both companies, this time I made a tag using Distressed Glitter Plum Ants and Stripe Green Olive papers. The tag is 1.5 times bigger that a regular premade tag as I wanted some space for stamping and embellishing. I used the striped side of Olive paper for my the basic tag, inked and distressed. Then another tag was made from the back side of the same Olive paper and glued over.

The Plum paper was stamped with 2 background stamps- Collage Writing and Design Solid Circles with a third,Swirl stamp, in three ink colors: black, white and brown, all of them were heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

I made a flag banner from the same striped paper and added a huge Prima flower over it. The flower petals were also stamped with white ink and a script background Viva Las Vegastamps stamp.
The final embellishment was this Fancy butterfly stamp- stamped, hand cut, embossed and covered with Pearl-Ex powders.

Then I added some Mardi Grass Dew drops over the butterfly and on the tag and my project was done.
Hope you like my use of both companies products.
See you on our fantastic blog hop in 2 days! Be here! Only treats and no Tricks!
I also entered this to Pan Pastel  UK challenge for Distressing

Have you tried our delicious ice cream? My niece did...

This page was born as soon as I've seen this " Have you tried our delicious ice cream"  tag from Pretty Little Studio Fresh Eggs Vintage tags.   I had this messy baby photo of my DN Tamar and used PLS sketch with this photo and this tag as a title.

The paper used are from April Showers collection: Rose bed, Clover, Moved Lawn and Shaped paper.
I pleated 2 strips with different kind of paper pleating on the edge, border punched the matting with MS border punch, added 2 kinds of pleated ribbons under the photo and made a garland from Homespan Lemon Sliced Garland. I used 2 round tags from Fresh Eggs Vintage tags as my title and under it, stacked 3 sizes of Journaling cards Fancy Brackets Love  Note collection  fro the rest of my title- the answer "  You sure did". Blue colored bingo card was added under the cluster (from Colorfed small vintage Bingo cards set)

Some flags from  Celebration Paper Ribbons were added over the pleated strips.
Now the fun part- paint over this page. Some blue around and some light pink dropped in the same messy ice cream look.

My very first stamp company DT

Inspired by Stamping is a very new stamp company with stamps that just fit my style so much, that I decided to try this DT call. And lucky me was choosen by Joanna, the company owner, to be a part of this great ant talented DT. So for the next year, starting from December 2011 we all will show you all Joanna's new releases month after month and I just hope you will love those stamps as much as I do..
A hint? There are doilies and French elements and some great sentiments there and butterflies.. And Halloween and Winter Holidays too (OK, those last not so much for me, but for all others.. )
Everything this shabby girl (me) needs for her altered art and scrapping and maybe even some cards.
So here is the site and much more to come in a month or two.

You are my type card

This new card was made  with Pretty Little Studio Ad #2 inspiration and I mostly used the old typewriter as my major inspiration fro this card. The Typewriter is from Echo Park , PLS doen't have any of this images yet.. All other products, but basic AC cardstock and Glitz mini alphas, are for PLS lines.
I used Antique Shop paper and some Apple Sider mathing ones here and added a big Bingo card from Big Colored Bingo cards set. The small flag on the corner is from Vintage Ribbons set.

I made the wrap  recycling the white plastic inside from this orange Wonder tape I use all the time.
Then I just use papers from 6*6 pad, stickers and added those lovely EC vintage setting with round epoxy and 3 EC handmade buttons.Robin's nest ribbon was the last product used here.

Mom sis or Mona Lisa- I did it again

About a year ago I  scapped this page in pure b/w style and I just felt that it should be redone with some colors. So  this Prima color challenge this month was a trigger to scrap it again and now- with color. I think it's much- much more vivid this time. Hope you  think it too.

Laugh hard altered paper bag

As it's a very long vacation here- about 11 days and I don't have too many plans (just cames back from the cruise vacation) , I have time to do some designs for some challenges. This Lessology challenge for a Doggy bag was just a good fit  to alter this yellow post tall and thin envelope (cut in the middle) with some mised media  kind of alteretion. I made resist stamping (Prima stamps), heat embossing (Fancy pants old stamp set,the huge  one). Then I used some pieces from Glitz  and K @CO, inked a lot. The final touch were some flowers and leaves in those fall colors, so good for lot's of other web challenges too.
As for recycling? Always. So the jute is recycled, the envelopre  and then this wood old earing used as a charm.

And  more challengesFalling leaves for Crop stop

Fall flowers for Crafting for all seasons

Halloween is here- with Tando Creative October challenge

I scrapped again after 2-3 weeks of cards etc

This page was published in SNR Fevruary 2012 issue
Sometimes you just need a push to scrap. For about 2-3  weeks and one week vacation on cruise, I finally did a lo and thanks to Lili Bee fantastic sketch I feel that I am back with scrapping..
So here is LB sketch and here is my take of it. I don't scrap  multiphotos a lot, but those photos of my daughters 3 years ago S. America trip were just perfect.
I used LB products- mixed and match style, papers, stickers and alphas. made 4 Epiphany craftsd handmade buttons with the Button Studio 20 tool and added a cluster of Elle's studio journaling spots.
The fabric alphas are from Prima and they don't stick.. So I just used this vlear office tape to stick them and to save some time. Looks different and even unique. Then I added a  tiny border with Elle's back of tag package- don't they look so cute, those smallest possible tags ever? The pop of red was because of my DD  red sweatchirt. An the circles? Partly 2-3 round punches and my old and never forgotten Colluzle.

Life is a game tag book

This is my new tutorial project for Pretty Little Studio and I thought about it when I realized that we have both bingo tags , papers and numbers on PLS collections. So I made this tag book from Kraft cardstock as shown on the following steps here:
Step 1: Cut 6*12'' piece of Kraft cardstock, score it 4 times in accordion fold and make a tag shape cutting the corners and making a hole in the middle.

Step 2: Adhere some vintage lace as shown, we will use it to close this book later.

Step 3: Adhere you PLS patterned papers. I used Antique Store Collection Timeless, Charm, Treasure, Patchwork papers and some Check  Mate paper from Be My Valentine collection   too.

Step 4: Connect your tags with Flashcards as shown. I used Word Flashcards Antique as they expressed the games I used here. Retro for Bingo, Nostalgic for Domino, Classic for Check and Playing cards.

Step 5: Embellish your tags. The first tag was embellished with metal  frame and wood Game  letters, and Bingo Red Number tags were added. The second tag was embellished with a pair of small  Vintage Flash Bingo cards form bith Neutral and Color  sets.
And then all the upper banner flags were added from Vintage Feedsacks Paper Ribbons set.

Step 6: Titles and finishing the project.
I  added some real game pieces here, dominos and cards, and EK check embellishment. Each tag got it's own  title: Luck for bingo, fun for domino, to be ahead for Check and to play life for cards.
I also added a lot of ribbons on the top of my tags  and this altered piece was done.

Here is the overall opened look above
And here  is the look on  my closed project.

I was a Featured Crafter on Create for Less shop website

I was looking for my " lost" photobucket and found myself here:
And this shop don't even ship to Israel- very sorry about this, as they are great.
Then I found myself here- in Spanish, I can't understand..as a Featured crafter.

Mardi Gras lo

This page was published in Ready Set Creat December 2012 issue
This is a Halloween season and  my Robin's Nest DT box was full of Halloween's papers and stuff, but we don't celebrate it here in Israel, so I just twisted the products for Mardi Gras photos of my DD somewhere in USA.
Don't you just love those Dew drops on those gorgeous glitter die cut masks? I sure do!
And be sure to use all  those gorgeous papers for any other than Halloween reason- it can me Mardi Gras and can be just a mascarade ball or Jewish Purim.
I enter it to the following challenges:

I (heart) you altered frame

My parents moved to a new  home 3 month ago and mom had all those old and unused frames, so I just took some to alter. This one is I (HEART) YOU frame, made with Echo Park goddies. I actually used 2 full ABC sets  here to make the saying over the glass.I used crackled paint over the framed paper and added one single Epiphany Crafts Shaped Studio Heart 25  epoxy shape and 3 Shaped Studio Round 14 epoxies over this frame. Really cool project to use unused alphas too.

All my love card

Recycled  Prima packaging is a base for this shabby card- I embossed the whole packaing and then covered the company logo  with border punched strips.  Everything else nis pure Prima this time, but Kraft basic cardstock.

Colors mini printer's tray

This project won an Echo Park Spots and Dots FB challenge- thanks!
This project won Scrapalicious challenge- thanks
This project made Top 3 on Hooked on crafts- thanks
This small- 7*5'' chipboard printer's tray from Tando Creative company is really just one third of this gorgeous piece, as it cames with a back and 3 tray layers. I decided to keep other 2 for  another project and to make this flat one layer tray, using Echo Park  products- great for my " color" concept and to add  all possible embelishments  to this one to match the colors. So lot's of Tando pieces were added here, covered with all possible mediums- Pearl glue paint, stamping and 3D glue, clear 3d glue, glitter, enamel paint etc. The frame was covered with Ranger's crackled white paint and some of it left uncovered. I added lots of Tim Holtz metals here to fit the frame and to frame it more.
And some challenges:
10 for Trail makers- 10 colors, 10 boxes in the tray, 10 different embellishments, one for each box
Not a card for Hooked on crafts
Anything goes for Woodware USA
Something that hangs for Scrapalicious
