Key to my heart card

This card was a winner of day 334 on Cards 365 blog- thanks!
Sometimes I am so much in love with some tool or product that I just can't go ahead for the next one..
This is a reason I  did my second card with the very same Heart to Heart Doilies die from Cheery Lynn Designs..
This time it's without a sentiment, just 4 layers of hearts (all Prima paper) and a die cut Heart Key from Cheery Lynn Designs too- covered with lot of glitter over the hearts.
This is 9!!layers card- with the base and 8 other layers and still not very bulky one as those hearts fit one another perfectly!
I also added some twine for " connection" and  one big flower too.. Horray, I am back with flowers!
And for some challenges:

8 days of light lo

I know- Hannucka is all over, but Crafting Jewish style had this sketch challenge and I still had some Holiday photos to scrap- so this lo  was done, showing  my daughter and her friends celebrating this Holiday far away from as 2 years ago in Orlando Florida. Their home made Sufganiot and Latkes was not so proffecionally baked, but horray for the afford.
Just to clarify the details: other than Jewish symbols- the stars are for those girls- one mine and her good friend cooking and baking by themselves long way from home in Florida 2 years ago.
The white paint around is  for the baking mess they most probably did.

Sweet love card

This card will be published in SNR April 2011 issue
Moxie fab blog says that grey is a new black and I just love this as greay is one of my old time favorites(OK- black is the most..)
So I did a new card for Valentine, but using some X-mas items I won on MME blog  on this card
The background was stamped with MME leaves stamp and heat embossed-  first layer with a clear powder and a second stamp layer with a white one, just a delicate stamped touch
Then I use MME papers with MS border punches, some MME chipboards, die cut and also made a pleated paper ribbon. The card is very simple, but very elegant too- full of glitter and almost monochromatic-all togeher made it my real favorite for this month
I hope you like it too
And some challenges other than Moxie fab

Clean and simple for Challenge up your life
With love for Secret crafter
Anything goes for Scrap stamp and doodle

Vine bottle cover-Like a good vine

This work will be published in SNR May 2011 issue
This vine bottle cover is made for someone's B- day, someones not so young B-day asit says  that this person is as an good vine-  older and better.. I will keep it for the  good vine bottle and for some good friend's B- day day..
Cheery Lynn Designs dies have new CHA release of leaves and we were asked to create something using these  never shown 3 sets of leaves.
So I thought about doing some altered project and the vine bottle cover was my first thought.
I used Tim Holtz embossing plates package as a base, BG pp,2 stickers fonts (Heidi Swapp and MLS) and 7  sets of CLD dies (3 leaves new sets,  2 scalloped coved rectangles- larga and small, a journaling bouble #2 and a banner die as my grapes base)
Grapes were made with Ranger stickles- 2 days  of drying-LOL
Some brads were added and the twine is a pure recycling too
And for some challenges:
New for My partner in crafting crime
 Celebrations for Ginger loft
B- day- the sentiment tells it all- for Prairy Fairy
B-day male- for Sisterhood of crafters
Altered for Sugar sweet treats

Wedding super mini album

This mini album will be published in SNR May 2011 issue
This mini album was Top 3 on 4 crafty chicks metal challenge- thanks!
This is a smallest ever album /papercraft I did in my life:we are talking 1.5*2.25'' metal altered candy box bought in Joann's store. The candies were awful, but the box? The best one to alter as a super mini album- just to keep it inside your handbag and to show  to everyone.
I used j. Bowlin 4*4 papers, some MM stickers and 3 sets of Cheery Lynn Designs dies: small oval scalloped and regular stackers and small scalloped tag set- and even the smallest one had to be cut to enter this size of a box.
The photos were resized and printed with this tiny sizes and the photo strip can be taken of the box as I used this scotch doublesided  reusble fabric closure.
The box then was added to my own key/bag chain made with lots of jewelry findings, real crystals, beads and some metal pieces.
 And some challenges too;
Altered item- tin  box- for Sugar sweet paper treats
New beginnings- wedding- for Quirky crafts
 Colors for There she goes
Red and diecuts for Crafty cardmakers
New for My partner in crafting crime
Anything goes for Craft  your  days away

 Celebrations for Ginger loft
 Love for Bunny Zoe crafts
Bling for By cute and girly
 New brginnings for Crafty creations
 Linking party- Passionately artistic

My TOP 10 projects for 2010

I just  caught that my Top 10 projects for 2010 post was never done.. OK- I have a very good reasons:my dear grandma died a week and a half ago at a great age of 98, than my very first grandson Omer was born  8 days ago and than  his dad, my oldest son, got his Lt. Colonel rank in Israeli Army 2 days ago and today was Omer's Brith ceremony.. Too much for one very small family in 10 days.. So here it is: my own Top 10 list in no particulary order, just projects I think are my very best done in 2010,some  won some competitions, most of them were web published in different web magazines and all of them show my style changhing or developing during 2010.
But before this- my " check list" for 2010
My very first page was submitted to Scrapbooking. com on Nov. 2009 and published on Dec. 2009, the same month SNR magazine published my 2 cards. Since then I was a Discovery artist on Scrapstreet magazine on April 2010 and was published ther since in about 6-7 next issues.
I was a Featured artist on Scap n'Art magazine in Jan. 2010 and published there  in 4-5 more issues.
I was published in  4-5 more of Scrapbooking. com magazines issues and from August 2010
I am a staff member on Scrapbooking News and Review magazine, designing lo-s, cards, altered art and  mixed media projects for the magazine, doing product reviews and tutorials too.
I also was a DT member on about 10 (or more) challenge blogs, most known are Gingersnap and Unscripted sketches and a guest DT member for 4-5 more, and I decided to move to companies and shops after I did my terms there.
So right now I design for an Australian shop named Scrap with V (class kits and blog challenges),British chipboard company  named Tando Creative, USA  thin dies company named Cheery Lynn Designs and last and  newest- USA paper company named Best Creation. INC.
Not bad for an unknown Israeli scrapper who was jumping with joy when her work was just considered for some blog spotlihgting a year ago.
I also won some companies competitions, honoured and won a lot of web  challenges, got some great prizes and met a lot of web scrapping friends.
So it was a great year for me , scrapbooking connected and even a better one for my growing family.
And now  the projects I consider as my best- pages, art board, altered items, art journal, mini album- I just focused in every kind of creations this year.
Symphony of life lo was published in Scrapbooking. com February 2011 issue

So happy together was published in SNR magazine

Colors of nature was published in Scrapstreet magazine
Family mini album won Prima monthly challenge

Life is Beautiful was published in Scrapstreet magazine

My sis or Mona Lisa  was published in SNR magazine

Pink dream girl was published in SNR magazine

So see your in a year from now- I hope I can show you even better work then.

Not too much paper crafting- but a huge Diaper cake made with a lot of love for my first grandson Omer

 New- for Paper issues
 New for Crazy challenges
 New for Creative Cottage

Cute as a ... button lo

This page was published in Scrapbooking. com magazine March  2011 issue
My new  and clean page- using all possible sizes of hand made buttons- all cut with Cheery Lynn dies:
buttons set #3 and  little circle stackers(the big ones, and then I just used a  hole office  punch to make holes and to make buttons from them)
This is one of my daughters palying with her good friend twin babies- the journaling is just in case:not her babies, not yet...  and I did a title using buttons instead the word..
I used the Girls Paperies papers, some old DCWV cardstock for the side buttons, half Basic Grey cardstock for matting, MLS small alphas and Pink Paislee 2 chipboard fonts for the title. The ribbons leftovers were used on the buttons and 2 flash cards from Studio Calico too. I think this is a very frugal page- you can use paper only and the only "expensive " thing here are the flash cards  that can be done at home too, using you PC..You can use any  font leftovers and any pink and blue cardstock leftovers for the small buttons cuts here. It's also a very fast page- 15 minutes and you are  done.. Just make some cuts, holes and tie your ribbons.
Entered to Scrapbookers anonymous 17 buttons challenge- I have more..
 Babies for Crafty Hos
Make  your own embsllishments- all my buttons here- for Trail makers
Something new with ribbons for RRR
